Based out of the Metro-Detroit region of Michigan, Meagen Smith specializes in beyond skin like natural makeup, event makeup, bridal makeup and High Definition makeup suitable for film & photography. Meagen was introduced to makeup during her time at the International Academy of Design while earning her Bachelors in Fine Arts. Shortly after she began her journey into makeup working on various film and commercial productions, using her knowledge of color theory, appropriation, and design to create elegant captivating looks. While working on set of a Spirit of Detroit award winning production for local and national DMC hospitals she realized how much she loved the artistry of makeup. 
 

Meagen's passion for makeup extends further beyond creating classic looks, she has a passion for bringing clients inner beauty full circle. Her techniques focus on enhancing client's natural appearance and emphasizing clients' best features. She believes makeup isn't where ones confidence stems from but it is where its displayed. Taking your unique beauty and personality and giving you a look appropriate for any occasion. Meagen hopes to be able to demonstrate makeup artistry to the world showing its more to makeup than just brushes and luxury products its an actual art.

Building a solid rapport with her clients is everything to Meagen, most of all clients whom have received services from her return. She enjoys the time she spends with her high school clients discussing college and goals she feels sharing insight creates a unique bond. While she loves providing her services for all events she notes bridal as her "Top 2". Taking pride in being chosen for such a memorable day each time is an accolade. The time spent with each bride and party is always exciting hearing stories of love, and happiness is a boost each time. Never forgetting her love for design, fashion editorial for her is the icing on the cake. She is sought after for various runway shows and photo shoots.

While Meagen is based in Metro-Detroit she brings her services throughout the surrounding regions. Traveling for her clients to places like Ann Arbor, Eastpointe, Royal Oak, and Monroe. She also services Ohio and Canada.

Of course makeup plays a huge role in Meagen's life, but when she isn't providing glam-overs to her clients, learning new techniques, or taking various PRO classes she sends time online shopping, travelling, reading fantasy novels, and hanging with two of the coolest cats in the jungle her rescue cats Brandi Bella and Rescue Kitten.
